Frank Phillips has come to painting after a career in publishing, working as a book designer. He was with Reader’s Digest Books and Ebury Press and was latterly Creative Director of BBC Worldwide. He now lives in France, paints mainly in watercolours, and is inspired by the patchwork landscape of the Perigord Vert and of Cornwall. He exhibits here and in France, and his work is in private collections in Britain, France, America, Australia and Russia.
