Lucy Pratt paints in oils with a boldness and exuberance that guarantee a colourful and direct portrayal of her wide range of subjects. She was born in Oxfordshire, studied at art schools in Banbury, Loughborough and Cheltenham, was sponsored to paint in South East Asia, came back to teach at the Cheltenham School of Art and, after a period on London, returned to live and paint in Oxfordshire in 2001. She has works in private collections in many countries, and, as well as participating in mixed exhibitions, she has had solo exhibitions in London, Devon, Gloucestershire and Atlanta.
